Frequently asked Questions

Please see below for FAQ.

The Process:

1 / How quickly should I get my flowers to you?

To preserve the flowers in the best shape, we prefer to receive them 1–3 days following the event. Pickup can be arranged for a fee, or the flowers can be dropped off directly.

2 / Does resin yellow over time?

The resin we use is yellow-resistant; however, all epoxy will eventually amber to some degree over time. This is a natural part of the aging process.

3 / If you don't use all of my dried flowers, will I get back the unused ones?

If you request this, sure! We can provide already dried flowers for an additional fee, if we have any left over. We typically only dry what we need.

4 / What is the process for creating each keepsake?

After we admire your flowers, we deconstruct the bouquet and separate the flowers and greenery into piles. One by one, cutting each flower from the stem and begin the drying process. After drying we rearrange the flowers into a design within the mold and begin casting them in resin.

5 / What is the estimated timeline?

Please allow 12-16 weeks for an order to be completed. Please keep in mind timelines may change and it could take up to 20 weeks, in rarer occasion. You will be contacted when your keepsake is ready!

6 / Can you dry the flowers for me and send them back?

This is not a service that we offer.

7 / Can you put my intact floral arrangement in the mold?

No. Because floral arrangements are custom and vary in sizes, it will likely not fit inside the mold.

8 / Will the colors of my flowers change? Are there any flowers that cannot be used?

Yes, the colors of your flowers will change. For example: red flowers will darken to a burgundy color; white flowers will turn ivory. Succulents do not dry completely and cannot be placed inside your keepsake. Ask me about substituting a faux succulent!

Disclaimer & Policy

Honeybee's Floral Resin cannot be held responsible for skin or other health reactions to the products it provides. All reasonable setups are taken to  ensure the piece is skin safe and has no sharp edges etc. Resin is a chemical process and even though we know the basics, sometimes things happen out of our control. Flash curing may occur even thought we attempt to avoid it which can result in yellowing.

Please keep your keepsake out of direct sunlight. The resin has anti-yellow features however; it is not anti-yellow proof. Bubbles may appear within your homemade piece, although we try to minimize this. Color and shape of flowers may change after they are preserved.
